Grangegorman Mental Health Facility

As part of the re-organisation of the Campus at Grangegorman, the existing mental health facilities are being replaced by a 54 bed low secure building. The project consists of a 24 bed Intensive Care Unit arranged around two courtyards at ground floor level, a 20 bed Continuity Care Unit at first floor level and a 10 bed Rehabilitation/Respite Care Unit at second floor level. The building is intended to be non-institutional in character with varying block heights and contemporary brick detailing with a total project area of 7800sqm which is due for completion at the end of 2012.

Curraheen Hospital, Cork

Curraheen Hospital is Cork’s 3 storey hospital/hospice facility measuring 15,209 m2, which replaces the existing Marymount Hospice/St. Patrick’s Hospital on Wellington Road in Cork. This building will principally accommodate 75 hospital beds and 44 hospice beds along with all ancillary services. Construction of the Curraheen Hospital commenced early 2010 and took just over a year to complete.

Enniskillen Hospital

Construction began in 2009 on the £270m new Acute Hospital in Enniskillen. Gyproc partition systems were used extensively throughout the project to meet the various performance requirements as set out by the design team.
