The Aviva Stadium, located adjacent to Lansdowne Road railway station, officially opened on 14 May 2010 after 3 years of construction. Internally the public accommodation is spread over six levels. Ground level consists of multiple entrances, with a service road behind, off which open the players’, media and back of house facilities. Croke Park is the principle stadium and headquarters of the Gaelic Athletics Association (GAA). With the need to increase capacity of the stadium, construction commenced in the early 1990’s and was completed in 2005 after four phases of construction.
