Gyproc has launched a new lightweight ready mixed filler and finishing compound, Gyproc ProMix Finish. It allows for a smooth finish of joints. Gyproc ProMix Finish gives excellent coverage with low shrinkage for fine finishing and excellent workability. It is available in convenient sized tubs, 3 litre and 15 litre from your local builder’s merchant.

ProMix Finish is white in colour and can be used for hand and machine application. The compound should be mixed to a smooth consistency if required prior to application.

It typically takes 24 to 48 hours for the product to dry, depending on ventilation and weather conditions. The compound should be dry before applying subsequent layers.

As a final, finishing layer, ProMix Finish should be feathered out up to an overall width of 300mm, centered on the joint.
