This brand new initiative offers existing experienced plasterers the opportunity to gain recognition from Gyproc regarding their ability to understand and apply the full range of Gyproc Plaster products in accordance with manufacturers' instructions. Successful completion of the course, which is validated by an on-site third party assessor throughout its duration, provides a Gyproc brand endorsement as a Gyproc Approved Plaster Product Applicator.

Day 1 provides attendees with a comprehensive overview of the full range of Gyproc plaster products. Hands-on practical tutorials are undertaken on the recommended application of all Gyproc undercoat and finishing coat plasters. Common site detailing and issues are reviewed with practical tutorials on suitable background preparation for relevant Gyproc plasters. As part of the course attendees are also briefed on key content contained within relevant codes of practice, building regulations and guidance documents.
Day 2 is the assessment day and requires attendees to successfully demonstrate that they understand specific information relating to Gyproc plaster products and that they can apply these products in full accordance with the instruction provided on day 1 of the course. Attendees of this course are also provided with a unique Gyproc plaster site pack containing all the relevant information a plasterer needs to bring a project to successful sign-off and hand-over.

PPE requirements: Attendees must bring and wear their own safety footwear. All other PPE (glasses and gloves) is provided for the duration of the course.
