CJ Sheeran Visit Gyproc Factory
Gyproc welcomed representatives from The Pallet LOOP and CJ Sheeran to its factory on the 18th February, reinforcing a shared commitment to advancing circular and sustainable pallet systems within the construction sector.
The visit followed the recent recognition of The Pallet LOOP, which received the “Best Build Product” Award at the Hardware Show in the RDS, this week. This award highlights the growing importance of sustainable logistics innovations across the industry.
During the visit, Gyproc hosted Andy Williamson from The Pallet LOOP as well as Fergal Moran and Peter Rice from CJ Sheeran Group. The tour, led by Stephen McElroy and Lenny, provided an opportunity to showcase our operations and to reflect on the strong collaboration already in place between Gyproc, The Pallet LOOP, and CJ Sheeran.
Gyproc is the first construction manufacturer in Ireland to implement The Pallet LOOP, a circular pallet system using durable, reusable pallets instead of single‑use ones. Pallets are collected, inspected, repaired and returned to circulation, reducing waste and carbon impact. Companies also receive a PayBack reward for every pallet returned in good condition.
The initiative supports Gyproc’s long‑term sustainability objectives and aligns with the company’s ambition to drive change in our industry.
