Gyproc teams visit the plastering students at MTU Cork centre of craft studies

At Gyproc, we believe in building strong foundations not just in construction, but in relationships.

Representing Gyproc, Eamonn Murphy and Dan Nolan presented to a class of phase 6 plasters our lightweight metal systems, walking students through the benefits, installation techniques, and real-world applications of our products. It was a great opportunity to see the students at Munster Technological University (MTU) Cork Campus apply their growing skills in a hands-on setting.

We always value these moments of energy and curiosity with the students and we thank them for their enthusiasm; it reminds us why these visits matter.

This collaboration with MTU Cork is one we’re especially proud of. Spanning over 25 years, our relationship with the lecturers in the paster section of craft studies department has been built over the years and shared commitment to excellence in plastering education. Together, we’ve hosted events, demonstrations, and classroom visits.

We are delighted to have the opportunity to meet both Phase 4 and Phase 6 students throughout the year.
With Phase 4, we explore our manufacturing process, including our bag and board products.
For Phase 6, the focus shifts to our lightweight metal systems, offering deeper technical insights and practical demonstrations.

Thanks again to MTU Cork and their students for the warm welcome. We’re already looking forward to the next visit!
