We are delighted to attend the IAPFP 2026
On 5 March, Saint-Gobain attended the Irish Association for Passive Fire Protection (IAPFP) Conference at the Carlton Hotel Dublin Airport.
The event brought together Irish and international experts who shared their knowledge and experience for the Passive Fire Protection sector in Ireland, especially as the industry prepares for the upcoming mandatory registration of Passive Installers and Applicators.
Throughout the day, our team had the opportunity to meet attendees, discuss current challenges, and provide insights into our solutions designed to support safer, compliant fire‑resistant construction.
The morning sessions focused on delivering passive fire safety in Ireland today, exploring best practices, current standards, and practical challenges across the industry.
In the afternoon, the discussions moved towards the future of the sector, with presentations on European standards, regulatory changes, and the importance of strong stakeholder engagement.
This conference was accredited with 7 CPD hours by the Institution of Fire Engineers, reflecting the high level of technical expertise shared by the speakers and the relevance of the topics covered.
Thank you to all the contributors and to the entire IAPFP team for organising such a valuable and insightful event.
We were delighted to take part and to continue supporting the evolution of passive fire protection in Ireland.
